Other License Information
The big game license has two parts.
- The top part is your hunting license and includes general personal information and specific season, location, and dates information.
- The bottom part is the tag, which must be attached to big game kills.
While bowhunting, you must carry both parts of your license with you.
You may keep the top part of the big game license and use it to hunt other game, such as badgers, coyotes, crows (in open season), foxes (gray and red), gophers, ground squirrels, jackrabbits, marmots, porcupines, prairie dogs, raccoons, and skunks during the rest of the license year.
