License Requirements

To hunt big game species with archery equipment, you must have an archery big game license.

• All archery licenses are limited issue. These licenses limit:
  • The number of hunters per season or …
  • The number of animals that an individual may harvest.
• You must submit an application to South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks (GFP) to apply for a limited issue license.
