Other Prohibited Hunting Methods

It is illegal to carry a handgun or rifle while bowhunting deer. Exception: A hunter may carry a handgun while hunting with a bow tag if he or she has an unfilled transportation tag for a season that allows handguns.

A muzzleloader is legal to carry while bowhunting only if the hunter possesses a valid muzzleloader license that meets the caliber requirements.

It is illegal to use any of the following to bowhunt deer or turkeys.
